Savannah Simmons has a BA in interdisciplinary art from the University of Georgia. She grew up sailing on the Georgia coast, and as an adult has interrupted her practice with multiple jaunts on the seas, leading her to the islands of the Western Caribbean. She spent 2023-4 in Brooklyn, focusing on her painting practice and working as a plaster artist. There she created the series “Rhumb Line.” In 2025, she sailed to Utila, Honduras, where she worked and showed work at Ecothing[k]s Gallery. She currently lives in Savannah, GA.
